Fields of Activity of Soolepardaz Company:

Soolepardaz started its activity in 2006 (1385 in the Iranian calendar) in the design of industrial structures and, after extensive studies, completed the major Soolepardaz software project (the first specialized steel structure design software in Iran) in 2008 (1387), coinciding with the Year of Innovation and Prosperity. After registering the software in May 2009 (Ordibehesht 1388), it has attracted the attention of many design companies and manufacturers of industrial structures, both private and governmental. The group consists of five distinct units: design and calculation, supervision and implementation (civil), market development, research and development, and administrative-financial and human resources. Currently, the group plays a major role in the country’s industrial development and construction by utilizing the most advanced equipment and software and employing experienced personnel in line with modern global standards.

  • Inventor of the first automatic steel structure design software, Soolepardaz.

  • Consulting services in the design and implementation of steel, industrial, space-frame, and truss structures.

  • Design and implementation of industrial, steel, space-frame, and truss structures.

Soolepardaz Automatic Steel Structure Design Software:

Soolepardaz is a powerful software for analyzing and designing steel structures. It is the only software in the world specialized for these operations. It can analyze and design multi-span steel buildings with different spans, buildings with auxiliary spans, curved roof structures, and single-pitch roofs. Additionally, it can analyze and design steel structures with mezzanines and intermediate columns.

With this software, you can quickly and accurately produce design files in less than an hour, optimized to minimize sheet metal waste, along with execution drawings and calculation booklets. Soolepardaz generates detailed execution drawings in AutoCAD and performs manual checks on members and details in the calculation booklet. The latest version includes a 3D model export compatible with Tekla Structures.

A highly practical feature is the analysis and design of steel structures with cranes. Designing crane beams and girders is complex and time-consuming, especially accurate modeling in SAP software. Soolepardaz, leveraging experienced engineers’ knowledge and extensive research, can automatically and accurately design crane beams and girders when selected by the user.

Another key feature is its precise and easy load application. Loads such as snow, wind, and seismic vary by location. By selecting the city where the structure is located, Soolepardaz automatically applies and verifies relevant regional coefficients for wind, snow, and earthquake loads with high accuracy.

Soolepardaz analyzes and designs all parts of the structure, eliminating almost all need for manual or other software operations.

Input parameters: span, height, length, roof slope, crane tonnage, roof load, spacing between frames, wall height, pedestal height, construction site characteristics (wind, snow, earthquake loads, allowable soil stress), etc.

Outputs:

The software first designs the crane beam, proposing dimensions for the beam and girder, which the user can adjust. The user inputs thickness and width values for the flange and web plates and clicks to view results instantly (the program checks bending stress, shear stress, deflection, and local buckling, and calculates weight). The user can optimize the design after a few iterations. Then, the crane girders are designed similarly. Next, Soolepardaz automatically models the steel structure in SAP2000 according to Iranian code (Standard 2800 and Chapter 6), loads it, and designs it. The user specifies beam and column dimensions and clicks to transfer data to SAP. After 2D and 3D analysis and design, the software reports results.

Users can model multiple proposals quickly, compare weights and costs, and select the best design.

Soolepardaz includes an option to reduce sheet metal waste by considering commercially available sheet sizes, optimizing design for minimum scrap.

After designing the steel structure, the software designs other parts (connections, base plates, foundation, bracing, purlins, wind columns, local buckling controls, soil stress, uplift, column base design, anchor bolts, beam-to-beam and beam-to-column connections) and generates calculation booklets and drawings.

Typically, these components are designed manually through trial and error, which is time-consuming and inefficient. Soolepardaz automates and accelerates this process, improving accuracy and efficiency.

Finally, after connection, foundation, and column base design and optimization, the software outputs calculation booklets in Word format, detailed execution drawings in AutoCAD format (sheeted), and Tekla model files.

Key Benefits of Using Soolepardaz:

Similar Products:

  1. SAP and Tekla: Tekla is for detailing only, costing €20,000–30,000 for licenses. Cracked versions are ineffective. SAP2000 is widely used for main structure design but requires manual design for foundations, connections, bracing, and cranes.

Soolepardaz integrates SAP2000 automatically with Iranian code, providing Tekla export.

  1. Microstran and Limcon: Used for analysis and design of steel lattice towers and steel connections; does not design main steel structures but uses outputs from other software.

  2. Space Gass: Steel structures, connections, bridges, tanks, stadiums, buildings.

  3. Master Series (Lite Suite): Steel structures and connections with Excel and Word outputs.

These programs cannot accurately estimate materials and costs and are time-consuming. Also, they lack automation for multi-span steel structures, cranes, auxiliary spans, skylights, curved roofs, intermediate columns, and mezzanines. Regional load factors and soil stress are not automatically applied.

Due to these limitations, Soolepardaz software was developed to comprehensively design all parts of steel structures with high quality and accuracy in under an hour.
