Introduction to Soole Pardaz Software

Soole Pardaz is a powerful, specialized software developed for the automated analysis and design of steel portal frame structures (sooleh). It is the first software in the world created exclusively for this purpose. The software is capable of analyzing and designing multi-span steel buildings, asymmetrical layouts with attached sub-halls (bache sooleh), arched-roof structures, single-slope halls, as well as structures with mezzanine floors or interior columns.

Soole Pardaz covers all structural components of steel halls, virtually eliminating the need for manual or external software calculations.

High Speed and Accuracy in Structural Design

Using Soole Pardaz, engineers can generate optimized structural designs with minimal material waste — including calculation reports and construction drawings — in less than one hour.

Traditionally, components such as bracings, base plates, crane girders, and supports are designed manually through time-consuming trial-and-error methods. Engineers begin with a conservative section, test its adequacy, and adjust accordingly until an optimal section is found. Soole Pardaz streamlines this process by automating calculations and reducing human error and design time, even for complex components like crane girders.

Minimizing Steel Plate Waste

The software includes a sheet loss optimization feature, allowing users to input available plate dimensions from the market. Soole Pardaz then minimizes offcuts during the design process. A structure might have the lowest weight, but if it results in excessive material waste, it is not truly optimized. This feature ensures economical use of materials and reduces waste and cost.

Crane System Design

Designing crane girders and supports is often complex and time-consuming due to their structural behavior. Soole Pardaz simplifies this by offering automatic analysis and design of both single- and double-beam cranes with high precision. Accurate and user-friendly load assignment further streamlines the process. This replaces the need for advanced manual modeling in external software like SAP2000.

Automatic Load Assignment Based on Location

Since wind, snow, and seismic loads vary across regions, the software enables users to select the city where the structure will be built. It automatically applies the corresponding regional load coefficients and assigns them to the structural model based on National Building Code – Part 6 and Standard No. 2800 (Seismic), ensuring regulatory compliance.

General Workflow in Soole Pardaz

  1. Define project parameters (location, geometry, crane type, etc.)

  2. Select structural configuration (single-slope, multi-span, mezzanine, etc.)

  3. Automatically apply regional loads

  4. Execute structural analysis and optimization

  5. Generate calculation reports and drawings

  6. Export to SAP2000 and Tekla if needed
