How do I model a structure with a sub-frame ?
If the sub-frame module is purchased, add a span and set the roof slope direction in the "Sloped Roof Type" section. Adjust the height and width accordingly.
What does "Crane Seat Type" mean?
There are two types: cantilever (connected to the column) and on-column support. For cranes above 10 tons and spans over 20m, column seating is recommended.
How to model an arched structure?
If the arched roof module is purchased, select "Arched Roof" in the slope type for the desired span.
Why does the "Some members are weak" message appear in 3D modeling?
Usually relates to non-primary elements like roof braces under compression. May also be due to virtual consoles or lintel beams.
What is the "Strut between braces is weak" message?
This refers to longitudinal struts between columns. Go to "Defaults" → "Lateral Bracing" tab to adjust the section.
What does the project plan message about span length differences mean?
If different spans are entered in a multi-span structure, the software flags geometric irregularity. The user must manually check this in SAP since the software doesn’t do it. It’s better to model such structures separately.
Common Errors and Solutions
Activation doesn’t detect the dongle?
Dongle setup is missing. Disable antivirus and run ISSetup from installation folder.
Software crashes when opening Activation?
.NET Framework 4+ must be installed. On Windows 8, uninstall newer versions, install v4, then v4.5.
Update starts but freezes at the end?
End the task, uninstall the app, download the latest version, and reinstall.
Activation shows license expired message?
Please contact support.
Error 3264 after clicking New?
Installation failed or repeated installs. Uninstall, delete the Soolepardaz folder, and reinstall.
Error 430 after clicking New?
May be due to broken Office files or interference from antivirus or network security. Disable and reinstall, or test on another PC.
Make sure Office is activated. If issues persist, uninstall and reinstall after deleting the folder.
Error at program launch?
Ensure only one version is installed. Uninstall others and check Office.
MSI error on opening?
Disable antivirus and check if files were moved post-installation. Reinstall if necessary.
Fonts are broken or in English?
Change system locale to Persian in Control Panel.
SPS file not saved or not opening?
Add the .sps extension manually.
In Windows 8, program freezes during crane design?
Set decimal symbol from slash (/) to dot (.) in Region settings.
UI buttons missing or zoomed in?
Adjust resolution and scaling settings.
Error at start of modeling?
Check SAP version compatibility.
Stresses show as zero?
If elements are too slender, stress reads zero. Change dimensions and verify SAP is working.
Stresses not displayed and SAP shows error?
Check if project folder name is in Persian. Move it to an English-named path.
Some beams not drawn or loads incomplete?
Input values might be invalid. Check dead loads and distance from adjacent structures.
Error430 at start of drawing?
Check AutoCAD version and whether 32/64-bit matches. Folder name shouldn’t be in Persian. Crane level must not be zero.
